wifes H4 visa got stamped in india , but stamp on my previous employer.

Hi All,

I was with company A . i had visa stamped with company A ( valid till july 2013).

i switched to company B this october 2012. H1 transfer with valid H1 till 2015.

Went to india got married this nov 2012, and cam back to US on Dec 1st 2012.( came alone, i dint go for stamping as i had valid visa stamped on my passport).

My wife went to H4 stamping on Dec 7th with all the documents i provided to her along with my new I797 with the new company valid till 2015.

She got her visa approved , today she received her passport in india , but the satmp in her passport is with my previous employer name A and valid till July 2013.

Is this ok when she comes to us on jan 4th at POE .

i was expecting that she will get visa staped valid till 2015 as per my new I797.

please let me know if understood correct or the visa she got is correct ?

Her VISA is ok, No need to panic. She can enter US without any problem.

kk, you said " i dint go for stamping as i had valid visa stamped on my passport". so was the visa stamp in your passport with the new employer ? did you get stamped in canada / mexico b4 going to india?
