H1B Stamping : VISA Amendment Issue

Hi,

I am going for stamping in Vancouver, Canada. I was approved H1B petition on my CLIENT1, who is located in XXX location. But i have changed the CLIENT1 after 3 months after getting petition approval. My Employer has taken LCA amendment for the new CLIENT2. So should i show LCA-1 or LCA-2 initially if VO asked me to show ? Is H1B amendment compulsory even if the Job TITLE, ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES are same for the CLIENT1 and CLIENT2 ? I also got all necessary information from my employer, that he would provide the amendment memorandum which would be sufficient to show it to VO, if questioned.

Please help me, if anyone has more information on this ?

Better go for Amendment. Even if the title, roles and responsibilities are same you have to amend your H1B for new client same as LCA.

My first H1B started only from October 2012, since before that i am on OPT status.

@spb -- are you goign for amendment or not ? i am also in the same situvation .. my employer told h1b amendment required and take 3 months for normal processing ( $1100) and 2 weeks for premium ( $2300).

I didnt get it Ammended. But i got my Visa Stamping Done successfully in Vancouver.
