Hello

I sent my passports and all docs to detroit canadian consulate on through overnite mail 12/12 and recieved passports back on 12/19, because of weekend delay, detroit canadian embassy is fast.

I sent all my docs along with Passport to Canadian Consulate at Detroit last week. I got all my docs back today cuz i did not realise detroit consular general does not accept payments made online. So i had to get cashiers check and send all the stuff back.

BTW did u get the canadian visa ?

Hi,

First of all congratulations on getting your passport back so soon. I have a question on the application form, since I am mailing to Detroit as well.

1. Is it mandatory to send the photo copy of the air tickets as a proof? I haven't scheduled an appointment in US embassy in Canada. So I don't know when I will be traveling. I am just planning to get my Canadian visa in advance.

2. I have put random dates for the 'dates of travel' section in the Canadian visa application form. Do you know if it's OK?

3. If possible, can you list the documents you sent? Just wondering if you had to send other documents like Client Letters, or previous status proof etc.

It is very important to send ur US visa appointment letter. That proves ur purpose to Canada. Send all the docs that were sent for getting ur H1b visa. Those docs have everything they need. Also send recent payslips and bank statements for last 3 months.
