I am with my wife and 2 daughters (Elder one need visa and younger one is US Citizen) My Background: Master In IT Having all the EVC model letters Worked in India for 3 years Working on H1B for 6 years I-140 approved. Waiting for priority date. Interview: Young chinese guy@counter 7 VO: How long have you been in Canada? Me: last 2 days VO: So you are here for H1 Visa? Me: Yes sir VO: So you came to US in XXX year: Me: Yes ..sir VO: whom do you work..sir? Me: xx company VO: What is your designation? Me: Told VO: So you are working for this company from last XX years ? Me: Working for this company from last 1.5 years VO: Do you work for client or ? Me: yes I work for client told XXXX VO: Ohh..you work for public schools Me: Yes VO: What do you do? Me: explained as per the client letter VO: How long is your contract? Me: Started explained its on going project..production support ..so and so.. ( I would have told open ended to avoid next question) VO: Is it open ended ? Me: yes sir VO: Is your green card filed? Me: Yes sir, my I-140 is approved. VO: Can you show me your H1 package submitted to USCIS? Me: Gave him all the package but it has separated LCA/I-129 and remaining doc's VO: Can you show me your Pay stubs? Me: Gave him last 6 months ( but I have almost complete set of pay slips, ready if he want me) VO:He saw everything and said ..I am confused why do you have $0.00 amt showing in checks Me: It's actually Duplicate check (Void check, I just took the one printed form ADP.. I guess its better to separate) Then finally... VO: Ok. I am approving your visa and you will receive in 3-5 business days. He kept all our 3 passports and I-797 All this in not more than 10 mins but in between he was talking to Old american lady i guess she need some help from him (she is doing another Interview @Counter no 5) BTW there are 5 counter for the interview not sure who is doing for H1 but looks like more than 2 . No questions, no documents (I-797's too) asked for dependents Please let me know if any questions Many Thanks and Best of luck to all.
