ramakrishnanp
Hi, I had an approved H1 visa filed through Consultant A in US and the visa got expired in 2011. I did not travel to US with that H1. Now my current employer in India wants me to travel to US. My 1st question is, am I eligible for cap-exempt if I apply for H1 again? If I need to file H1 then should I apply it through the Consultant A and get it transferred or can my current employer file for H1? If my current employer need to file H1 should they just transfer it and file the visa under ca-exempt? Any help in this topic is much appreciated. Ram Link to comment
ramakrishnanp
Hi Omshiv, Thanks for clarifying. So my current employer can file H1 under cap-exempt and I presume that we can file H1 anytime during the year if I fall under cap-exempt? Thanks. Ram Link to comment
