Does this job qualify for EB2

Hi All,

I got an offer from a respected bank and job requirement specifies Bachelor Degree and 8 years of experience. Does this Job qualify for EB2 category.

I hold 3+2 (bachelor and Master) degree from India and 8 years of experience (5.5 India + 2.5 US).

Should I accept this offer.

Any guidance is much appreciated.

Usually EB2 category needs Advance Degree that means Masters, but I am not sure in your situations since they need 8 years of experience, may be Bachelors + 8 yrs can qualify for EB2.

More than that the company should be willing to file under EB2 for the job, and they would rely on there HR/Immigration department to make that call, so I would suggest ask the company what is there stand on the position and what category they are planning to file for the job in question. You certainly do not want to go with your assumption and later on the company has some other view of what they want to do.

They are not required to file for a GC for you. It sounds like they offered only a job and not GC filing.
