srihari1236
Hi there, My employer filed multiple (duplicate) H1B petitions ( due to confusion or mistake) on my name and both got approved from USCIS back in June 2012. We immediately notified USCIS that duplicate petitions were filed and later thought that this case was resolved. But, on Dec 6th 2012, we got a notice from USCIS about their intent to revoke both of my petitions due to duplication. My employer responded to USCIS immediately acknowledging that it happened by mistake and requested to cancel one petition and keep the other as is. My question is, what are the chances that our request would be considered by USCIS favourably and what is the way around if they revoke both of my H1B petitions? Link to comment

How can your employer file multiple petitions for one employee? Did your employer filed like 1000 petitions this year?? Your employer tried to fool USCIS and now it has back fired on YOU. wiweq
Ask your employer to call to USICS and clear the confusion. It's all up to USCIS, nothing can be predicted. Link to comment
