I am on EVC My H1b started on 2011 Jan.., And changed client in 2012 Did ammendment on OCT 26th . My Interview Process 1. Whos ur Employer 2. How long with this employer 3. Highest Degree (masters in electrical engg) 4. Why u choose Different field for your Job. 5. Asked for w2 , LCA 6. Asked about master project. 7. Took my resume. mane Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 I am on the same boat, however I work fulltime but my company's auttorney has mistakenly filed my H1b for NewYork office location and we made an amendment on 7th Dec, 2012. That could be the reason for issuing me 221g. VO took my I797A and when I asked him if he needed an updated employment letter, he replied they will send an emial if further documents wud be needed. One of the H1 eligibility rules, "beneficiary should be working in the field which is related to his/her study". If your job was in EE, then you would have got your visa.

ksgvarma Posted January 12, 2013 Author Report Posted January 12, 2013 Dec 10 : Interview got 221g Jan 4 : Got email from Consulate to submit PP jan 8 : Submitted PP Jan 10: Got email from Loomis Jan 11: Picked up PP Jan 12: back to US No additional Documents Asked , Just waited n Waited . hopefully everybody will get the VISA Thanks Varma

Please update this, I am still waiting for their email. Also, can you tell me from what email address did you get an email to submit PP? I hope to get my visa back too. Thanks
