221g - toronto - 8 months and still waiting

Had my h1b visa interview in toronto consulate in april 2012 and got 221g yellow for admin proc and since then waiting. Tried all possible ways to contact embassy and got same generic response back saying its still under review.. Even my employer & attorney contacted but they also got the same response.

Now I m thinking of withdrawing my application.

If i withdraw will i get my I797 back? can i schedule my H1b stamping at another location with same I797.?

Experts plz suggest me.

Try getting new sponsor, pref. EC model. You can contact vendor companies if they can sponsor you. If you have common Muslim name then it can take up to year.
