netg Posted December 7, 2012 Report Share Posted December 7, 2012 Hi This is my situation: Entire team got laid-off recently. Last working date was Nov 1st 2012. Got a contract position from company X which is handled by a consultant company M. H1 transfer is done and start date is next week. Meanwhile got another full-time offer. New company C says start date will be 4 weeks from now. I have already been out of payroll since Nov1 (1 month and 6 days). Is it ok to not join company X and wait for 1 more month to join company C as this is a full-time offer. I can join X and quit in 3 weeks but I dont want to do that. Has anyone been in a similar situation? What if I dont have pay stubs for 2 months? Will I get an RFE? What are the chances for denial of H1 transfer? Thanks Link to comment
