Change of employers in OPT status.

Hello,

I have visa stamping on DEC 18th at Vancouver. I need help with the below questions.I have two previous employers before my current employer . current employer filed my H1B .

1. when VO questions why did you change the employer What would be the best answer other than the better opportunity ?

2. Will it be an issue if there are more than one previous employer in OPT status?

Please advise.

Tell them the facts and it is not an issue if you have more than one employer on OPT.

Hi MJS,

I am in same situation too. I am planning to tell them the fact..I changed because of better opportunity and better pay rate as well as h1 sponsorship which is a basic need to be in status in USA.

Please experts advice is this fine enough to convince VO?
