H1B transfer from part time to full time

My wife is currently on a part time H1B visa working 20 hours per week. She wants to work full time (40 hours per week) and would like to know whether she can transfer her H1B visa from part time to full time provided her new employer is willing to hire her full time. I am guessing that a new LCA will have to be filed for the full time position but should not be subject to cap. Can someoned she light on the likelihood of the transfer to full time or are there chances of denial? I tried to research the H1B forums but nothing relevant has shown up. So looking forward to your responses.
