STEM BILL

I am a physician and iam on H1B visa , i got my EAD and my I 485 is pending .House has passed STEM bill . It includes PHD and Ms from US universities . I did my residency In usa , will it be considered if this bill is passed and is made into law .I do not see any mention of physicians

in this law .

Physicians will be considered under the STEM bill. Unfortunately as you know already that this is just a bill...and according to various news sources Senate majority leader, Harry Reid, has no plans to bring up the the bill. Republicans and Democrats are working on a comprehensive immigration package which should contain STEM and that may get more traction.This discussion topic would be a good fit under the legislation section of the Murthy forum.

This STEM bill is dead. It was just a political stunt by the Republicans.
