Is H1 Amendment needed for H4 Stamping if the client is changed?

I am in US and I worked for Client A when my H1 was filed. After applying in two months I changed the client B(new LCA filed), but the H1 is approved.

Now, My wife and kids are going for H4 stamping in India.

Do I need to do the H1 amendment for client change for going to H4 stamping for my dependants?

Also, in my name a letter is misspelled in I797, does this cause a problem for H4 visa stamping?

Please advice.
