Successful Visa Stamping in Vancouver...nov-30-2012

Hello fnds,

below is my visa experience.

im on EVC model...No client letter....first time stamping...I saw 6 others got Visa in front of me...

same routine questions..asked client letter for everyone.....

counter 6 ( american lady around 55 - 60 years)

me : Gud morning officer, how r u?

VO : doing good how r u?

VO took my passport n saw my F1 visa...so u completed u r master's in this university.

Me: No I jus did my first sem ther...later moved to a different university.

VO: what is that

Me:told name

VO: can I see the degree certificate from that university

VO: when did u finish u r master's

me : jan xyz year

VO: u started working after that

Me: I started working from march XYZ year

VO : took my i797 n asked ..did u start working for this guy (pointing to my employer in i797)

me; no....it was for a different company

VO : what was that

me ; yyy company

VO : how many employers u changed

me :2 employers

VO: how long u r working for current employer

me :8 months

VO : who is your end client

me : xyz

VO : client city

me : xyz city

VO: how long with client

me ; 23 months

VO: what do you do for them

me : told my role

VO : do u work at the client place

me : yes

VO: where do u live

me : xyz city

VO: do u hav client letter

me : according to my client's HR policy they dnt give letters to contractors for any purpose n I have a email saying that.

VO: can I see that email (I gave her print out), she looked at it thoroughly.

VO: asked employer offer letter ( I want to see how much you get paid),LCA, pay stubs for current employer.

went inside for 5 mins n compared my salary vs lca ..came back n said u r salary is matching with u r LCA it is good.

VO: were u not working anytime

me : never

VO: where do you bank

me : zzz bank

VO: what bank is it...where is it

me : zzz city

VO: what is u r highest degree...bachelors or master's

me: master's

then she said....everything looks good to me....your Visa is approved...enjoy the stay in Virginia.

Me : Virginia ??? (coz I was in Vancouver n I'm from Virginia)

VO : yes virginia...I love that place...

Me: sure...thanks

VO : u wil get u r passport in 3-5 days...u can pick it from loomis.....took my passport n i797.

Me : thanks once again...bye

she dint asked me why I changed university or employer or any vendor letter or bank statements..or abt employer...she was so friendly...listened to me with patients all the time till I complete my answer....but she looked at each n every document thoroughly .....
