I received RFE on my H1 ext today. Can you please advise if it is safe to travel to India while H1B ext is still pending? My current H1 and I-94 expired on 9/30/12. Thanks in advance for your help.

cooldude76 Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 You can't enter into US if your H1 is not approved. Yes if you need to re-enter US then you will have to go for consular processing and get a new visa stamped on your passport. All the best.
