H1B extended with OLD I-94 number

Hi All,

My attorney filed for H1 extension which had expired in 2 Mar 2012 and i got approval. I recently found out that they didnt use the current I94 but older one.

So the I94 i have has an expiration date of 2 Mar 2012.

The Old I94 on my Approved I797 has extension upto 2 Mar 2015. I dont have the physical copy of the Old I94. My attorney said it wont matter.

But I am little worried. Is my attorney right or do I need to do something?
