Visa Interview in Toronto Nov 28

Hello Everyone,

I and my wife both attended visa interview in Toronto on Nov 28 and we both got our visas approved.

My wife is on E-V-C model and I am an FTE for top fortune company.

After you enter the interview room. you will be called 3 times. First you passport, I797 and ppt will be taken and sorted in folder and will be asked to wait. Secondly you will called for finder prints and thirdly after long wait you will called for actual interview. ( in some cases 2 and 3 will be taken in same window)

My interview was very simple.

VO - good morning

A - Good morning

VO - Ok.. you work for XXX.. what does this company do.

A- answered

VO - what is your position

A - i work as XXXX

he spent a minute typing on his system. Picked up a white form with blue font and said your visa is approved. no documents asked.

I was there in the room for almost 30 mins and every interview lasted for 5mins and some even longer.

My wife had to convince the VO

VO - good morning (smile)

A - god monring (big smile)

VO - where do you work

A- answered

VO - is XXX your end client

A - no.. i work for XXX and my end client is YYY

VO - asked for LCA

A - showed

VO - how come your LCA has different salary and paytubs show different number

A - I have been working for 2 yrs and i got increments and one promotion

VO - smile on VO face

VO - asked for tax filings

A - showed

VO spent lot of time tying and analyzing. Gave back the tax filings and within a moment again asked for them

VO - asked for W2

A - searching for W2 in folder

VO - thats fine.. no issue your visa is approved.

A - thank you very much

we both were told that our passport will be in ready in 3-5 business days.

till now no update on the site an no email from Loomis.

Thanks for the detailed description .. I have planned trip to Toronto for stamping in Jan .. and am on EVC model..

Was a bit worried with the reviews of people with 221g... did the VO ask for client letter to your wife.. ?

Congratultions. Did you both of you interviewed by the same officer. Is that Asian officer? Please suggest , did everything positive there if we have all the documentation?

Yes, they are asking for client letter. he did not ask my wife but he saw the client letter with company logo when my wife was searching for W2. for the 30mins i was there in waiting room.. i did see VO's asking for client letter
