Maddy_visa Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Hello all, I have a situation where my manager is ready to give me the client letter for my stamping but she is not a full time to my company i.e at client place. I read in these forums that in few cases after asking for client letter the VO searches something on his/her database .. So I am not sure if it is ok to take the letter from a manager who is a consultant but not a full time . Please some one answer as I have my visa next week and I am very tensed as to what to do. Thank you ..
NewH1-B Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Am in same boat. You will be damaging your self if you take a letter from the manager who is a consultant . But what you can do is take an email from him/her from you client email address. And make sure her signature is present there at bottom. This is my thought.
InGodWeTru$t Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 yes its better that your manager is an full time employee otherwise take it from HR. In cases they will send email to ur manager and also your HR, and ask HR to confirm if your manager has authority to sign your client letter . Good Luck
NewH1-B Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 @INGodWeTrust : IN my Case my Client does not give letter . And my Manager is a vendor as am . What i was planning is to get an email stating that my client does not give letter and i work for xyz client and my responsibilities are abcd.. I will make sure that i have his signature at bottom with my client email address.. What do you say..
InGodWeTru$t Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 That's a risk here is what FPU will ask your manager his role in current organization and if he is a full-time employer at client Again if your thinking of ottawa its a risk , it may work in other locations not sure
NewH1-B Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 i Don't think seeing recent emails and questions from VO . he has much time to ask about manager role and responsibilities than inquiring about petitioner..

Now decide yourself, whether you want to continue with that client or you want your visa?
