221g green @toronto ..pls advice

I got 221g (green) on Oct 22 at toronto consulate. The Consular Officer didn't ask for any documents and kept my I797 at the point of time.

After exactly 1 month i received an email to submit some supporting documents like LCA, paystubs and tax returns and VO also kept my passport .

Please advice me your thoughts and let me know is this a good/bad sign if they keep Passport with them and usually how much time does it take after submitting the docs?

I definately feel its a good sign. It should be done in couple of days. Surely you will get it, go with a positive frame of mind.

Did they tell you any reason for holding your passport ? are you still in canada?

Nope they didn't told me any reason .i'm stil in canada
