sudheer26 Posted November 27, 2012 Report Posted November 27, 2012 Hello, Yesterday my H1b transfer request approved from company A to B. Due to personal reasons this week i need to travel to INIDA. So, Do i need to go for stamping with latest H1b or old H1b? because i have paystubs only with company A. please suggest me. Thank you.
1unclesam Posted November 27, 2012 Report Posted November 27, 2012 As long as your visa stamping and the H1B petition from Company A is valid, you can travel with that with no issues. If the stamping from A has expired and you are going to work for B going forward, you will need to use your latest H1B. You can use the paystubs from A during stamping interview to show that you were employed and were in in valid status in US. If asked, you can say that you will be working for B going forward after you return to US.
