Query about H1-B workers Interview Waiver Program

Hi All,

As per the new H1-B Interview Waiver Program i am eligible for the following points and need clarification for the below point no.5. Please can someone clarify my below query.

1. Previous visa should have been issued after Nov 1, 2008 or Nov 1, 2004(Only finger printing appointment needed) - Yes

2. Previous and Renewal visa should be in the same category. - Yes

3. Previous visa should have been issued in india. - Yes

4. No recent visa refusals. - Yes

5. Previous H1-B visa is still valid or should have expired in the last 12 months. - Query : My previous H1-B visa has been expired in Oct 2011 and got extension when i am in US and my new H1-B extension petition has been approved till 2014. Am i eligible for the IWP as 12 months has been crossed after my visa expiration.

Hi,

I don't have insight on the details on the process like many of you still BUT according to the last clause you are NOT eligible for a dropbox service as the visa expiry surpassed 1 yr. I fall under the same category. You would have been eligible until Sep2012.
