ajharish Posted November 23, 2012 Report Share Posted November 23, 2012 Hi all, I recently changed my job and got my H1B transfer approved but noticed that my I 94# on the approval notice is different than the number on I 94 card that i have from my last entry to the states. When i checked with my attorney i was told that USCIS picks #'s for us and nothing to worry even if the #'s dont match. Is this correct? Thanks Link to comment
SameerH1Bworker Posted November 27, 2012 Report Share Posted November 27, 2012 I am not sure, but never ever heard or seen about two different I-94 numbers. In my case when I transferred or filed COS first time always got the same I-94 number as last POE's I-94 number. Link to comment
