L1 B , I94 Conflict

Hi Am with L1 B Blanket VISA. I have seen many postings relaed to this but di dnot get a clear answer. Appreciate expert comment.

My I797 Is valid indefinitely.

VISA is expiring on Jan 2013. Also there is something called PED on VISA which has date as jan 2013.

I94 Is valid till 2014 Dec.

Should an extension be filed for me?

If i continue working without any extension, does it impact me in future for any H1 or GC?

In general, when a foreign national enters on an L1 visa issued under a company's Blanket, they are admitted for 3 years. The expiration date of the visa generally does not impact a person's status in the U.S.
