mxk81610 Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Hello, My H-1B and I-94 expires in 2 weeks. I have EAD (I485 pending more than 180 days). New employer is keen on continuing me on H1B and has filed LCA on Friday. Trying to get a sense of when will it be valid to start working on non-immigrant status for a new employer. and what should be absolutely done by the end of H1B date? (a) only approved LCA but h1b not applied yet (b) approved LCA and H1B sent (fedex receipt) but H1B online receipt not yet received Appreciate any help and thanks in advance!

H1B transfer doc and approved LCA sent to USCIS (as per lawyer) on Friday (9th Nov) Its 16th (friday) and haven't even got the receipt number yet. I am worried. This is under Premium Processing . Did you get the receipt number ? any updates in your case? do reply, cause i think our both packages were sent out the same day... Good luck....!!! thanks,
mxk81610 Posted November 16, 2012 Author Report Posted November 16, 2012 My LCA is not approved yet (hoping to get it tonite or monday) and my I94 expires after thanksgiving week. Keeping in mind all the thanksgiving holidays, if I don't get my H1B receipt before I94 receipt, I am not sure what will be my status ?
