OPT to H4

Hey Guys,

How you all doing?

My wife's H1B got denied because her company applied on the last day of sending the H1B applciation and the LCA did not come back signed on time. We were smart enough to have a back up plan and applied an OPT extension through another company while her H1B was penidng. She is still waiting for OPT extension approval.

Just in case if it gets denied? Do you all know the grace period before she can either switch to F1 or H4?

If she wants to switch to H4? What is the process from OPT denial to H4? Is it just a Change of Status form? I am on H1B by the way.
