My son (4 Years old) is attending US visa interview along with my wife (H4 Visa) at Hyderabad on Dec 12th 2012 and his passport expiration date is Aug 6th 2013 but his I-539 is valid up to May 2014. And he is coming back to USA on Jan 25th 2013. My question is in Port of entry they, if they issue I-94 for up to Aug 6th, 2013 then how can we get the updated I-94 or How can we proceed in this case?

Please some one help me?
