SG81 Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 I am on L1B in the USA for past 2 years. My L1B visa has expired but I94 is valid until august 2013. My wife has got her H1B approved recently. Can I apply for H4 COS from a future effective date i.e from say Mar 2013? I want this from a future effective date because once I get approval notice from USCIS for my H4 (effective from Mar 2013), I have enough time to resign from my current employer. Kindly help asap.
