Approved I-140 and impact of change in ownership of Company

My I-140 was approved in 2008 for EB2 and my PD is Sep 2007.

Due to reorganization entire business unit was separated from Company A. And Company B has taken over all employees and all customers of that business unit and now operating as private company.

- What will be the impact of this on my GC processing?

- What process needs to happen?

-I have heard that I need to file “Successor in Interest - I140†application? Is it required? How long does it take to approve?

- If PD becomes current, do I still become eligible to file for 485?
