lgvisa
Hi, I got terminated from my employer. My I-94 card has the expiry date of one more year. It's been 2 weeks I got terminated. Can I change my visa status from H1B to B2 visa? How much would it cost? Will I be able to safely change my status from H1B to B2 and then again from B2 to H1B back without any issues once I get a job? Or Should I get another job and do the H1B transfer? Link to comment
JoeF
What did you do in the last 2 weeks? You lost valuable time. A COS may not be possible anymore, since you are out of status already. Costs for COS are listed on the USCIS website... Link to comment
tssg82
I was laid off yesterday and I got a letter from HR service saying that the rule is to withdraw H1 on the day of termination date and will be out of status. But, I already another employer filed my H1B under premium process just before layoff and got receipt number and waiting for results. 1. Am I out of status ? 2. If first employer file my H1 with-draw, how soon it effect ? What will be the process to with drawn ? I am really in frustration and confusing. Please help me to give some suggestions.
