H4 visa application help-pay&petition

Hi

I am currently on H1b visa getting my visa stamped before my wedding (Did not include my spouse name in my H1b petition since I was single).

I want to apply my spouse's H4 visa (after my stamping and wedding). Can you please let me the procedure on how to apply for a H4 visa? This is what I did - Spouse booked visa appointment, plan to carry H1b approval documents, pay stubs,tax documents and marriage certificate and directly go to the consulate. Am I missing something?

1) Do I need to file any petition (or any document) for my spouse's H4 through my employer/lawyer/USCIS? Since spouse name was not included in the H1b petition.

2)Is there a minimum pay required to support a H4 visa application (Is 40k good enough)?

3) Also mine is a part time H1b (petition states 35 hours and not 40 since I did not meet the minimum pay requirement with 40 hours). Will this be an issue?
