H1B Validity

Dear Team,

I got my H1B approved in October 2006., and I worked for 2 months and had to go back to India in March 2007.

Now I returned back on H4., Can I apply for H1 re-initiation if I get a job in near future., OR any issues prevail with the validity of my then H1?. If my re-initiation process is fine., How long do I get my H1?
