DS 160 marital status

Hi,

1) I am getting married in july and my wife will be appearing for H4 visa interview after marriage in july. As of today, while filling the ds160 form, the marital status i shall select would be what? my feeling is married status.

2) Im in US, If i am filling the form for my wife, under, who filled this form on your behalf, shall i select "other-spouse"?

Write SELF. That would be better and easier.

Also, as you are getting married in JULY, have you done your registered Marriage already ?. They will ask for Marriage Registration/Marriage Certificate.
