H-4 status with approved H-1B petition

Hi,

I am in US on H-4 visa and recently my H-1B got approved. However, I haven't started working yet. Recently, I got a call from another employer asking that do I need sponsorship or H-1B transfer.

-What is the difference between sponsorship and H-1B transfer?

-If the new employer files new H-1B petition/ transfer or sponsor my visa what will happen to my existing petition (with old employer) and how does it impact me?

And I have to travel ouside US for few weeks in another month. How does the stamping work?

-Is travelling safe outside US with my case?

-Will it be possible to be back on H-4 if I don't want COS/ work on H1B?
