H1 in 7th year extension..PERM pending..can I join new company

Hi,

I have H1 from company A and currently got 1 year extension after 6-year H1 period as my PERM petition is pending for more than 1 year. My extension is valid till next year Dec 2013.

Can I join a new company B now and can they apply for H1 transfer and then start the PERM process immediately.

What happens to my PERM petition from company A if I move to company B.

Also, if company B applies for my PERM petition soon after I join and if the PERM takes more time for approval which takes more time than Dec 2013, can the new company extend my H1 after 7 years for 1 year based on my old PERM petition which is in PROGRESS state for more than 1 year?

Please help me here as this is urgent for me and I am really worried here.
