Change vendor but same client - RFE response

Hi,

My employer filed my H1 for a employer-vendor-client setup. I have got an RFE about employee employer relation.

Now the vendor is non supportive getting end client letter, but there is another vendor "B" who interviewed me and is interested to take me in and get a client letter for the same end client.

Does this require a H1b amendment or a special procedure while we file reply for the RFE. Seniors, would appreciate your help and direction in this regard.

As far as my knowledge is concerned. You cannot amend if the H1 is under processing.

Amendments are done only the approved H1's
