sm33255 Posted October 31, 2012 Report Share Posted October 31, 2012 Hi, I have received an RFE on my H1B transfer and i am currently working for this employer on receipt notice. The last date to submit the documents for RFE is this friday 02-NOV-2012. Because of hurricane sandy power outage my employer (update from attorney) is saying that we will try submitting the documents if power is restored. Attorney_10 Posted October 31, 2012 Report Share Posted October 31, 2012 Your employer should contact USCIS immediately to determine whether an extension of the RFE deadline will be given due to the hurricane. Historically, USCIS has allowed for certain late filings affected by natural disasters. Link to comment
sm33255 Posted November 2, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 2, 2012 Thank you very much for your suggestion.... FedEx has picked up the package yesterday, late in the night and it is scheduled for delivery today by 12:00 PM for USCIS. Fedex is saying that they are experiencing delays in delivery so keeping my fingers crossed.... Suppose Fedex fails to deliver the package today, can we call USCIS on monday and reason with them?
