Wrong entry in DS160

Hi All,

I have a question .. and I (think) already know the answer but I want to confirm with someone over here ...

I have filled up DS160 for H1b Stamping and I have already taken visa interview date using that DS160. But today I realized that I have entered wrong dates in my past work experience but now I can't modify my DS160 because it is already submitted.

So I called at +13106165424 for help and they told me that all I have to do is to fill up another DS160 generate new confirmation page and bring BOTH old and new page with me at time of interview and explain my mistake to VO at consulate. I dont need to do anything else.

This sound too much straight forward process ... so I was just wondering weather I was given correct information or not.

Any help is really appreciated.

Hey Jack,

I believe we are in the same boat. I've just realized making a mistake in the DS 160 that I've submitted already for my appointment in january 2013.

I ran into your thread while searching for similar issues. I know you must have filled out a new DS 160 and just wondering did you change your DS 160 application number on your visa appointment?
