My H1 started on 1st of October 2012 but it’s not stamped yet, before that I was on F1-OPT. Questions 1. How much time it will take to get EAD for EB2 Category? 2. Is there any premium processing available for any of the steps for EB2 green card? 3. How much time it will take in current scenario to get green card for EB2? 4. Should I hire a lawyer who can keep eyes on my employer’s legal to check that everything is going in pace? 5. And how much safe is it to go to India while my green card is under processing? catx Posted November 1, 2012 Report Share Posted November 1, 2012 Clearly you have some misinformation or lack of information about the permanent residency (green card) process, e.g. there is no EAD until the last step in the process (which will most likely be in a few years from now). You should start by paying for a consultation with an experienced, qualified immigration attorney to fully understand the entire process and each step therein, which will answer your questions.
