sandy1987 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 Hi, My Status has been changed from L1B to H1B on Oct 2012. I have no plans of going to India as of now. But few of my friends sad that delay in stamping after approval will increase the chance of rejection for H1b Stamping. They have said some cases also. So, please suggest me is sfae to go for stamping now only. If i Change my employer with out getting stamped then how about the rejection rate if i go for stamping after 1 year. Please clarify thanks in advance.
krialta Posted October 30, 2012 Report Posted October 30, 2012 No, I dont see any problem here. Till you maintain your status and abide to H1B regulations you should be good. Rejections are based on case-case, do not get carried away by those.
luck2u Posted October 31, 2012 Report Posted October 31, 2012 @sandy1987: There is no such kind of rule. I know many friends who attended for their extension visas after completing 3 years i.e., based on I 140's also. So, don't worry about it. As long as you have valid documentation you will get your visa without any hassle.
