Anyone Rescheduled the visa appointment

HI ,

I have booked my H-1B appointment on dec 21st , couldn't able to find any other earlier slots as of now.

I have my return date exactly after a week so I have to reschedule .

I got the information that it takes 24 hours to reschedule the appointment once we cancel the current appointments.Is that a good thing to cancel my current appointment and wait for the slots to open up?

More info please, why are you planning to reschedule?

If re-scheduling is not based on personal grounds, one week should be good enough to receive the passport after visa approval.

I am flying to india on nov 14th , so i am looking for something in dec 1st week that is much convenient for me.

is that a good idea to cancel the current appointment all i can see was 7.30 appointments were released in dec. Since i have scheduled the appointment i cant see the available dates, I am hoping that there will be some more time slots released in dec.
