nick.maddy Posted October 29, 2012 Report Share Posted October 29, 2012 Hello Everyone, I have a question regarding change of travel dates in DS 160 form (after submitting the form and scheduling the visa interview). My visa interview is scheduled for Dec 11th 2012. I was initially planning to come to US on Jan 13th 2013 and now, I need to come a bit early on Jan 2nd 2013. Do I need to submit a new DS 160 form for this change of travel plan? or would it be okay if I just inform the visa officer. Your advice is appreciated. Regards, Nick Link to comment
krialta Posted October 30, 2012 Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 DS160 states as intended date of arrival, which by itself prone to change anytime. You could always travel earlier than intended if you are permitted to do so. Being on H1B, if asked you could always explain the IO regarding the dates which are driven by employer/client.
