H1B and H4 visa

Can we appear counselor interview for H1B and H4 (wife and child) both at a time?

If so, what are the pros and cons?

Yes, Me and My husband went together for H1 and H4 stamping and it was approved.

My situation is, i paid VISA fee and got receipt for mine only, Now i want to apply H4 VISA interview.

is there any chance of scheduling appointment together?

Best way cancel your appointment, pay the visa fee for your dependents and schedule an appointment for all of you in single shot.

You have to pay their fee in same way you paid for yourself. Each individual will have separate fee receipt.

After completing your DS160, your dependents DS160 will start in same session. Once all of them are completed you will get confirmation letter for each of you.

Even though you are going as a family, each one of you will have separate set of documents as your passports are.

Forgot to mention in previous response, you would select H4 visa type for your dependents where ever applicable. That will take care. single appointment for entire family, your's H1 and dependents H4.

But in my case as i already paid the amount of $190 for my H1B only and that receipt number tagged to my profile in UStraveldocs.

and now i have the option of adding dependents but when i call to the support team they are saying that i cannot add dependents under m,y profile as i paid my H1B visa fee. they are suggesting me to create separate profile for my dependents( H4) and schedule appointment for them. if i do that H1 and H4 VISA apppointments may not be under same slot right? then we should attend individually right?

Please guide me to schedule H1 and H4 appointments together at same slot.
