LCA Help needed

Hello everyone,

My employer will be applying for my H1 in 2013. I just want to understand few things before they apply.

I am working in livingston county, MI with a salary of 47K per year. I work as a IT support specialist with this company for 11 months. I don't have any prior experience.

When I check my wage on FLCDatacenter.com, I am getting a Level 3 wage for OEC/SOC title Computer Support Specialist.(in livingston County). I have a computers background and a masters in IS. I have been told by some of friends that I need to have a minimum of 51K salary to even apply for H1. Is this true?

And second question is Is it not advisable to to apply for h1 for OEC/SOC title Computer Support Specialist?

Please help me and share your views.

Does the job require a BS/BS degree? In most companies I have been associated with, that job title does not.

If that's true, then you are in trouble. An employee should not get paid less than govt's cut-off salary.
