sheena0706 Posted October 26, 2012 Report Share Posted October 26, 2012 Hello, I am going to Inida on the 18th of Nov. I am trying to book a date anytime between 20th -28th of Nov. I leave India on the 6th of Dec. I have been regularly checking the dates. Yesterday they opened the date till the 19th of Nov and they also opened it on the 6th of dec - 31st of dec. I am stuck, the 3 weeks I am in India I am not able to schedule any appointment. Do I still wait for it to open in Chennai ? I am from Bangalore so should I try a different consulate ? luck2u Posted October 29, 2012 Report Share Posted October 29, 2012 As you are residing in US now, try for any consulate rather that your home state's jurisdiction which is Chennai. If the VO asks you why are you not attending in Chennai, you can tell that you couldn't find interview slots available in particular time frame. That will not be any issue yet all. Good Luck!!
