EAD Vs H1 + Concurrent Jobs

- Currently working on H1B with company A [H1 expires End of Nov 2012]

- Company A : I140 approved in 2008; EB2 India PD Apr 2012; Applied 485, EAD/AP applied in Feb and 485 passed 180 days in August

- Planning to join a new company (B) with a marginally different job responsibilities and company is asking me to join on H1B (as a safety)

(1) What happens to the 485 process if I change job on H1B? What if there is a RFE asking EVL? (remember that new job description is marginally different)

(2) Company A might ask me to help them part-time. I know it's possible to have concurrent H1Bs (one full time with new company and part time with existing company). In that case can I first do regular new H1 transfer petition and then request existing company to amend its H1 petition to part-time concurrent job?

(3) In case of 485 EVL RFE and if I am working on part-time H1 with existing company, can I furnish EVL from them for RFE?

(4) Can spouse still use EAD when needed despite my status?
