faithalways
Hi, I have been employed full time with large company. They did my H1b and filed for my perm and I-140. Since I have a Bachelors degree, I was filed under EB3. I currently completed 6 years of employment with my employer. Is there a way for me to change my Eb3 to Eb2 under Bachelors + 5 yrs work exp? Can I file with the same employer? What needs to be done in order for me to apply under EB2? My priority date is Nov 2008 and I have approved labor and I-140 under eb3. Country to chargeability is India. Thanks! Link to comment
shilpatalks
Yes, it may be possible to do that. If you can show a progressive career growth and you file for EB-2 perm for higher level position than the one you are at currently, it is possible to get into EB-2. You will need a very good lawyer and a good support from your HR department. Link to comment
