H1B Transfer Query

Hi,

I was working on L1-A visa till 1st week of Oct 2012. I resigned from this employer because, I have fresh H1 B (valid from Oct 1st 2012), on this new H1B visa I started searching for job.

Till today, I did not get any job on H1 B on contract bases.

Here my question is, Can I transfer this H1 to different employer? Is it possible without started working on this new H1 visa?

Please let me know on the same at the earliest.

In order to transfer H1, you need latest pay stubs. Do you have them with you?

One more imp thing, on H1 you need to get paid every month as per the LCA.

Filing an H1B petition means, you have a job at the employer location, so don't say that I am looking for a job. And after H1 approval your employer pays every month whatever the salary mentioned in the LCA.

So in order to get transfer, you need to show the proof of your previous status in US. So you need your latest pay stubs, since you were working on H1B.
