L1B to H1B tansfer terms and conditions

Hi,

I am currently on L1B with Company A and recently got approval for my L1B extensions for 2 years along with I-94 validity.

In August I had applied H1B with a Consultant B and got approval for this too before to the approval of L1B Extension( There is 20 days gap for both the approvals, 1st H1B got approved) for this too i Got I-94 extension for two years.

Now I am in confusion on which Visa my status will be shown at USCIS as I have two active Visa's with same I-94 card number.

Can please anybody let me know within how many days i can switch from L1B to H1B if at all i want to change. And what will happen to my H1 Visa validity if I did'nt switch to H1 soon.

Plz help me in knowing this information.
