forthiola
My current visa stamp and I-94 expired June 1st 2012 with my former employer. Is it possible to leave the US and re-enter with a I-797 from my new employer and my old visa stamp? If so, what else would I need at the border? Would the I797, letter of employment, pay stubs and my old visa stamp be enough? Thanks in advance for any advice or experience you have to share! Link to comment

shandan
You would need a valid visa stamp at the border, no exceptions. Link to comment
